The software provides a number of scripting functions including the ability to add a province code to a record, change case, delete specified information, identify errant characters, parse telephone numbers and search and replace functionality.
- Parsing
The software parses names into first/middle/last/company components, has the ability to genderize information and can extract data components (i.e. initials, last names) from records.
- Load Data
The software has the ability to load data from other sources and databases into separate tables.
- Merge/Purge
The software provides the ability to take an extremely complicated process involving multiple input files from the customer and merge this information into one unique file. This process purges duplicated records and assists in the preparation of the file. This scripting also combines the ability to correctly address the files for Canada Post.
- Count Program
The software enables counts to be performed from databases to extract relevant numerical information. A count is a quick summary that matches records within a specific database.
